Yesterday we went to Big C to do our first shop! The excitement was too much... I was up early and ready to go!
Big C is a 10 min walk from our apartment and stocks local and western products! I was beyond excited to see pasta, sauces, wines and cheese! Even more excited that they stock my favorite wine...Casillero del Diablo. It cost about a tenner more than back home but it makes me feel better knowing its there! Cheese is also crazy expensive so will be a treat once in a while.
On the shopping list as an iron, ironing board, pillows, English breakfast tea, herbs and spices and ice cream. Purchase of the day was a Bonsai named Gerald! Couldn't resist having a little house plant to care for and especially loved the little bird that comes with it.
